How I met my hubby

I will never forget Brian showing up at my door for our first date. He arrived with a book in hand, rather than flowers, because he and I had communicated online and on the telephone prior to our face-to-face meeting. I had been a member of "Yahoo! Personals" for awhile, and happened to do a search within a certain radius of my hometown. Thankfully, Brian had just updated his account and his photo and information popped up! It was almost love at first glance, and almost too good to be true, as I sent him a quick, "Hi, how are ya?" He replied, we hit it off, and the rest is history!

Sometimes I still can't believe how much it feels like this relationship was destined from the beginning, because we are so compatible for each other. By communicating through Yahoo! Personals and Yahoo! Messenger, we were really able to learn a lot about each other prior to our meeting, making me feel safe and confident about meeting Brian in person.
